Alongside the release of Chapter 5: Season 1 of Fortnite, Epic Games also unveiled a collaboration with LEGO, merging Fortnite’s familiarity with LEGO for a new survival adventure experience. Yesterday, Epic Games and LEGO released a trailer for this collaboration, called “LEGO Fortnite,” showcasing object creation, combat, multiplayer combinations, an expansive world to explore, and much more.

The trailer begins with Brite Bomber, a standard character from Fortnite, encountering a rift that alters reality and transports her to a LEGO world. Within this world, LEGO sheep, castle-like structures, rolling hills, and plains can be seen, along with an unfortunate storm. Brite enters the castle and discovers a crafting bench where she creates an axe, marking the start of her survival adventure.

After making the axe, Brite constructs a shelter, a pen for the LEGO sheep, a full garden, and a campfire for cooking. Peely, the humanoid banana (also made of LEGO), quickly appears, and upon hearing nearby wolf howls, both characters craft several weapons.

From here, the duo meets two other characters, and together, the four embark on an adventure that takes them through snowy mountains, a desert, and finally, a cavernous mine where they encounter lethal skeletons and a huge monster.

At the end of the trailer, a LEGO Fortnite title screen appears, revealing that the new experience will be available starting… today! From today, December 7th, you can already enjoy this new collaboration and its novelties (although we can’t guarantee immediate access to matches).

LEGO Fortnite is just one of the three new Fortnite experiences unveiled alongside Chapter 5 of the Battle Royale mode. Tomorrow, December 8th, we’ll get to enjoy Rocket Racing, an arcade-style racing game created by Psyonix, the makers of Rocket League. Additionally, we can participate in the Fortnite Festival, a rhythm game from the creators of Rock Band, available on December 9th and featuring Eminem.
