The remaster of Oblivion arrives with controversy over its price

Its inclusion reflects how aesthetic microtransactions have normalized over the years, and how the concept of “horse armor” has shifted from being a symbol of the absurd to an element appreciated by some. Although criticisms of this practice have emerged on platforms like Reddit and Steam, most players seem to enjoy the return of this content, resulting in Oblivion Remastered quickly becoming one of the best-selling titles on Steam.

The acceptance of microtransactions, which were previously met with rejection, has evolved significantly over the last 20 years.
