The Summer Game Fest already has a date for its 2025 edition
It promises numerous innovations to keep it more interesting than the disaster of previous years

2025 promises to be an exciting year for video game enthusiasts, as the Summer Game Fest has announced its return with an innovative combination of events. The event is scheduled for June 6 at 11:00 PM, Spanish peninsular time, and can be followed on more than 20 digital platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, X, and Steam. The broadcast will last two hours, during which new announcements, surprises, and industry revelations will be showcased.
This year there will be new features to make it more interesting
The festival, which will take place in Los Angeles from June 7 to 9, will focus on interactive experiences for press members and influencers, who will have the opportunity to try demos from more than 40 major distributors. This event, known as SGF: Play Days, will be a great platform for content creators and media to share their impressions and analysis on upcoming releases.
One of the most notable highlights of this edition will be an event hosted by Geoff Keighley, in collaboration with Christopher Dring, former head of GamesIndustry. This special segment will focus on the current opportunities and challenges facing the video game industry, offering an in-depth and relevant analysis for companies in the sector.
While the structure of the festival resembles previous editions, this inclusion of discourses on the state of the sector adds additional value and shows the organizers’ commitment to addressing the most pertinent issues in the field of digital entertainment.
