Paddington has been filling the Christmases of the little ones for years with fun and emotional adventures that perfectly resonate with them. And, it seems, it will continue to be that way for quite some time. While fans eagerly await the release of Paddington in Peru, the third installment of the franchise, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Paddington 4 is in development and is expected to be released between 2027 and 2028.

The announcement was made during the Brand Licensing Europe convention, where Françoise Guyonnet, executive director of StudioCanal, made it clear that the future of the saga is assured.
A new Paddington series is also on the way
Beyond the new movie, StudioCanal is also working on a new television series centered on the bear Paddington, although it has not yet been revealed whether it will be animated or live-action. Meanwhile, Paddington in Peru will arrive in UK cinemas in November 2024 and in other markets, such as Spain and the United States, in early 2025.
