EA’s online multiplayer shooter Titanfall, which we really liked, has just got a massive patch which brings fixes and new features to the game.

The biggest new feature is Private Matches, which is now a public beta test. This allows you to organize games with and against your friends, using the same dedicated servers as normal games. It’s still in development, and some features are unfinished, but the basics are there.

Another change is that you can see your party members on the mini-map. They will now be green, instead of the blue that signifies any friendly soldier. Your auto-titan will also show up in the obituary in gold, like your name, so you can easily see how it is doing.

Already becoming well known for its tough stance on cheating, Respawn has fixed a PC exploit that allowed a ‘wall-hack cheat’. There are also a couple of minor menu changes.
