It is clear that Sony is not doing too well with its Spider-Man universe without Spider-Man. Both Morbius and Madame Web have proven to be complete failures, and it looks like Kraven is going down the same path. However, it still manages to stay afloat thanks to one single brand: Venom.

Although it’s not the be-all and end-all of quality, both the first film and the sequel did very well at the box office, even though the second one had to endure the pandemic. So, given what we’ve seen, Sony was already late in announcing the third part of the trilogy. But we now have the official title and release date for Venom 3, in which Tom Hardy will once again portray the symbiote.

Will Spider-Man appear in Venom 3?

As reported by Deadline, the third installment of Venom will be called Venom: The Last Dance, indicating that it will be the conclusion of the trilogy. The chosen release date is October 25, 2024, although it was originally scheduled for November 8.

Nothing is clear yet about the plot of Venom: The Last Dance, although both the title and Sony’s desire for their film to succeed could lead to a grand finale. The previous ones, as I said, were not bad considering that they fell quite short compared to other superhero films of the same style. And this one might be even better.

We must remember that the last thing we know about Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is that he was transported to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man: No Way Home, so this movie could go in that direction. Considering that Deadpool 3 will be released shortly before, there might even be a double cameo.
