In a world where it increasingly feels like everything good comes with a series of inconveniences, we are pleased to announce that until July 7th, Microsoft and Apple have joined forces to offer a three-month free trial of Apple TV Plus to Xbox owners.

The agreement has been announced on Microsoft’s Xbox Wire website. The opportunity is for both new and existing Apple TV+ subscribers. Users will have to sign up through their Xbox. Microsoft vows: “No strings attached, no hidden fees, just unlimited entertainment at your fingertips.”

No fine print, just three months of Apple TV+ for your enjoyment for owning an Xbox

Normally, the three-month free offer is linked to the purchase of an Apple device, as long as the buyer subscribes within 90 days of the purchase. Apple offers a one-month trial if combined with other services such as Apple Arcade and Apple Music.

For everyone else, it’s a 7-day trial and a $9.99 monthly subscription. But if you own an Xbox, you can save $30 before summer arrives.

As we were saying, Apple TV+ is one of the smallest streaming services, but it has a series of great shows like Severance and Ted Lasso, very popular and acclaimed by critics.

Microsoft mentions Argylle, but we would guide you towards Killers of the Flower Moon, by Martin Scorsese, the wonderful CODA or the beautiful animated film Wolfwalkers, by Cartoon Saloon.
