Best apps for waiters

Classic Notes Lite is a good note taking app, but there isn't anything that really sets it apart. If you want a very simple, easy to use app for taking notes, this is great. I have enjoyed using it for months. It has a surprising amount of features like dictionary and flashlight. This would be a great app for waiters and anyone else that needs to record info frequently. More

I do not think it is the best app. It is very similar to the default notes app and it seems like it is just a knock off. the app is not user friendly and seems very bulky too. More

As a waiter, I needed a good app for calculating tips. I found out about Tipper and I love it. It suits all my needs and is super easy to use. It has a simple and very clean interface, which I love. I've never had problems with it crashing or any bugs that I can think of. It makes my life so much easier. Really recommended! More

Tipper is a godsend. It helps when calculating tips and it has such a clean and sleek UI and it's so easy to use.

This will allow waiters to see if the tip they got is appropriate. Other than that, it's not really a great app for waiters. It just shows how well they are doing based on tips. More

I have a difficult time calculating the proper tip to leave when I dine out, so this is a great, quick way to remedy that without having to figure percentages manually. Completely functional and practical. More

This makes leaving tips easier. I never have to worry about doing math while intoxicated again. Haha just kidding but seriously... Math is no fun. This makes calculating a tip for our very sweet (or hot) server all the easier. I can't tell you how many times I've been out with a large group of friends and time for tip comes around and everyone is left staring each other down like we have no clue what to do. Typically, waiters aren't wanting to calculate tips...they're the ones receiving the tips, after all, and don't need to figure out their total. This is a better app for restaurant goers and service receivers, rather than restaurant workers and service providers. Still, if a waiter is looking to see how much a table left them as a tip, this calculator could be useful. More

Speak English has been invaluable for me to help train my waitstaff in proper English. It is amazingly easy to use as well and anyone can pick it right up and get started. Many of them spoke broken English when starting and can now effectively communicate as needed. It is a must have for anyone that needs to perfect their English. More
