I'm always in the market for an offline player for my Android, so I came across VLC and now I think my search will end. It's totally free, it plays almost all the types of media we can think of and no only audio, but plays video too, it has filters, equalizers and best of all, it has NO ADS! I really enjoy using Pi Music Player for when I'm on the go with my android phone. It makes offline playback simple and easy.

Spotify and Pandora are great, but It annoys me that I can't listen to them when I don't have an internet connection, such as in a plane, or when I'm out hiking in the woods. These are perfect times to listen to music, but I just don't have access on my android. Samsung music was the solution. Samsung music fully supports offline playing of music, and it's extremely user-friendly and easy to get started. The interface is as easy as spotify, and it downloads all your favorite songs to your phone. Now I can listen anywhere, it's great. More

Decent app for music. Nothing off the wall or out of the ordinary here, but I would recommend it. No real glitches to report so far, but I don't do anything with it besides play music, so there might be some unpleasant surprises in some of the other tabs or folders. I'm satisfied with it though so far. More

This is an offline music app for Android. It organizes all your music offline and you can customize playlists, adjust the music equalizer which is super cool, and you can shake to play the next/previous song too. It's a neat app and I find myself using it often when I don't want to use data to listen to music! Easy to find all my music and easy to use. More

Don't really know how well this will work for me. I will, however, give it a try and see if it works the way I hope it will.

This app has a decent design aesthetic, but the "2017" in the icon is unnecessary. I'm not a fan of detailed backgrounds for app backgrounds, but it's still an app I would keep my eye on. I would prefer something with more minimalistic design. More

It's good, using it in daily basis. But it has some issues, and the one big one is if you are playing songs on it and you are getting a call I won't stop the music until you pick the call, I think call should have more priority and if get a call music should be stopped. More

I have mixed feelings about using Amazon Music as my offline music app. Don't get me wrong, this is a worthy solution to my problem, but I think that there are other offline music apps out there that are better. Amazon Music doesn't always have the newest songs out there, but it does have the best playlists around. The app is functional and easy to use, I just feel like I could get more "bang for my buck" if I went with another offline music app. More

The topic specifies that it wants offline music apps. While this app does seem to be responsive, the description really focuses on streaming from the cloud. It later says you can play music on your own device too but this is buried. Overall this could be more relevant. More

While the app does what is says in terms of browsing and playing songs, it is yet another redundant app. I don't see the need in this app when most device already have this built in capability to play songs without the unnecessary bloat of another app. More

Music Groove has a wide variety of artists to choose from and it allows you to easily download music for offline use. It's interface is easier to use than others that I have seen. It also has older music that is not always included in other apps. More

Decent app, search function has been improved, lastest update has fixed the repeat function. Still have issues with playback and buffering sometimes if there is any short blip in your connection. More
