I'm not a very artistic person, so I wanted to apply some effects to some pictures I had taken. Specifically, I wanted an oil painting filter, since I think that looks super high class. I looked at Cartoon Photo to see if that's what I wanted. There is only one filter, though, and it's more of a sketch look. The icon itself is pretty cool, so you know this app will be cool too. It's easy to use, and the layout of the app is nice looking!

With 30,000+ reviews and over 16,000 5 star ratings, you would think that this is a great app. However, going by some of the more recent reviews, I would say that this app may not be as great as it comes off. Of course the only real way to know is to try, so I suggest you go ahead and do so. Maybe you'll like it and maybe you won't. More

I am always snapping photos of my day and love to put effects on them. The effects I had been using have been getting kind of dull so I went searching for some new good ones. I came across Watercolor Effect Oil Painting and was very surprised at what a cool effect it was. If you are looking for new ways to spice up your photos check this app out. More

This is a pretty cool effect. I love what you can do to otherwise everyday photos. There seem to be a lot of errors though, maybe it will get better.

Is a neat little Photoshop clone for iOS. The way the registration is worded, it implies that you get 30+ filters, but I only found 15 plus the initial 4. The app is fairly inexpensive for what it can do, but I'm really not happy with this apparent bait and switch. Good app with questionable practices. More

This looks like a really cool app that allows you to paint like the pros. It is also rated very well, indicating that people really like it and it serves it's purpose. It advertises being able to turn the average person into a Van Gogh, leading me to believe that the app is well suited as a solution for the topic. More

I love to use photoshop and other apps to make some weird looking and awesome looking photos. Do you want to create those awesome looking oil portraits? I think this is an app that you may want to use. Oil paint is an app you can use on your phone. How awesome is that. Give your photos that classic look that will make people question if your photo is a real life painting. Give the app a try. More

I downloaded the app Oil Paint to add some effects to a few pictures, and I must admit that it works really great! I printed the enlargements I wanted, and they really look like oil paintings! Neat! More
