Action (10000 programs)
Pros: Compelling narrative. Interesting and fleshed-out characters. Unique dual combat system. Open world exploration.
Cons: Graphics can be a little flat in places. Not much replay value.
Pros: Eerie graphics perfectly fit the horror theme. Rich environment sounds and fitting music. Rotating map pool to increase replay value.
Cons: Movement feels clunky and slow. Slight desync when attacking survivors.
Pros: Excellent options for customization of weapons. Co-op mode is extremely reliable. Player feels genuinely immersed in the cause of the resistance.
Cons: Controls feel unwieldy and somewhat clumsy. Enemy AI is not consistent enough. Excessive glitches and inconsistent frame rates.
Pros: Diplomacy works, which means a far richer game. No longer bound by history in any shape or form. The graphics may be worth buying a gaming PC for. Finally, no max number of turns (thank you Sega).
Cons: Micro managing is only fun when your empire is small. It is harder to judge which units are big threats and which are novelty units. You need a very good gaming computer to play it. It is possible to lose track of your armies and constructions.
Pros: A world war one game that maintains a fair amount of variety. The explosions and effects are amazing. Not so much duck-and-cover gameplay.
Cons: The facial modeling is below par. You have played this sort of storyline before. Not cartoonish, but also not a realistic game.
Pros: Free download. High tension gameplay.
Cons: Requires CS: Source. Fairly repetitive.
Pros: Fast-paced gameplay. Interesting variety of weapons and power-ups. Varied enemy creatures. Over 100 levels to play.
Cons: High difficulty level. Some power-ups are unbalanced. Gameplay eventually becomes repetitive. Derivative core concept.
Pros: Simple game mechanics. Immersive atmosphere. The ghost is inspired by classic Japanese horror films.
Cons: The gameplay can feel repetitive at times. The lack of variety in the gameplay mechanics can feel limiting for some players.
Pros: Engaging graphics and sound effects. Replayable objectives. Packed with scary moments.
Cons: Not for young audiences. It can become repetitive for hardcore gamers.
Pros: Still a great story. Moving between dimensions is still a fantastic mechanic.
Cons: It looks OLD. Mechnically really clunky now.
Pros: Innovative concept. Has a sense of humour. Upgrades and bonuses add depth. Good for casual gaming.
Cons: Some may be turned off by minimalist aesthetic. Will disappoint those hoping for a conventional fighter. Slow, floaty movement can become annoying. Levels lack variety.
Pros: Exciting. 3 other game modes. Realistic sound effects. Easy controls.
Cons: Repetitive gameplay. Repetitive music. Few characters. Single point of view only.
Pros: Amazing fast paced action in 16-bit style. Loads of fun characters and abilities. Smarter than you would think.
Cons: Can be overwhelming. Not for the easily frustrated.
