Adventure (6082 programs)
Pros: The subtle blend of old art and modern effects look great. Great music. Modern interface blends perfectly with classic tight platform action. I haven't mentioned it (because I didn't want to spoil it) but the story is amazing.
Cons: You can get frustratingly lost if you miss a path.
Pros: Beautiful art. World feels lived in. Good story.
Cons: Frustrating puzzles. Too much backpedaling.
Pros: Deep survival and community management mechanics. Includes two major expansions. Strong atmosphere and tension-filled exploration. Emotional weight from permanent character deaths. Varied survivor roles and personalities.
Cons: Outdated visuals and occasional bugs. Clunky controls and UI. Repetitive missions and looting system.
Pros: Brilliant logic problems. Great, consistent look. Involving and evolving adventure.
Cons: Will be too oppressive for some. Still a point-and-click adventure. People without knowledge of Dark Souls may take less from it.
Pros: Tough decisions. Great voice acting. Excellent, unique story. Beautiful graphics.
Cons: Can't influence the ending. Awkward controls at times.
Pros: Great adventure. Variety of levels.
Cons: Horrible controls. Dated graphics.
Pros: The inclusion of hand-painted visuals is a nice touch. The proprietary soundtrack is perfectly suited for the series. Progression from the last chapter provides continuity. Subtitles are available in five languages.
Cons: Violent content is not suitable for children. The first chapter of this series will need to be downloaded. A large amount of hard drive space (14 gigabytes) is required. No multiplayer option.
Pros: Great characters. Marvel! (AND Disney). Satisfying combat. Plenty for free in the demo.
Cons: Grey world. Expensive to get it all.
Pros: Immersive and atmospheric world. Dynamic weather and day-night cycle. Intense survival mechanics. Recent graphical and crafting improvements.
Cons: Repetitive gameplay over time. Crafting can become repetitive. Buggy multiplayer experience.
Pros: Stunning visuals. Emotional storytelling. Challenging gameplay.
Cons: High difficulty.
Pros: Engrossing, subtle story in a noir style. Incredible, striking visual style. Atmospheric and genuinely eerie.
Cons: Frustrating searching. Awful checkpointing and saves can cause too much repetition.
Pros: Silly fun. Good for both casual and experienced gamers. Quick to pick up.
Cons: Lack of new features from previous versions.
Pros: Authentic, colorful Sonic graphics. Fun to play. Lots of collectibles and power-ups. Features characters from the original Sonic games.
Cons: Doesn't innovate much on the gameplay of Temple Run. Some devices can experience lag.
Pros: Nice voice acting. Dream-like expressive art style. Involving story, with important themes.
Cons: Some convoluted puzzles.
Pros: Lots of new Sonic action. Vibrant 3D graphics. Regular updates available.
Cons: Not the original Sonic game. Rather limited in its scope.
Pros: Beautiful retro style. Amazing chiptune music. Precision platforming. Great characters and world.
Cons: Can be frustratingly hard at times.
Pros: Great way to learn the game’s rules. Simple intuitive controls. Authentic board game look. Convenient way to play. Cast of four characters with different missions keep it fresh. Cheap way to experience this board game.
Cons: Waiting for the AI’s turns takes forever. Rolls against the AI feel unfair (they probably aren't though). Physical pieces and dice are just better. Doesn't do anything to capitalize on its digital nature.
Pros: Convenient companion screen for gamers. Compatible with PS4, Xbox One and PC. Try gear on before you equip. View heatmaps of other players' actions.
Cons: Does not work offline. uPlay account required. Features are largely novelty. Some users report being unable to sync data with their game.
Pros: Good plot and animations. Lewis Carroll inspired characters. Lots of puzzles and objects to find.
Cons: Too hard to progress without purchases.
