Pros: Supports various file types. HQ playback. Easy to install and use. Doesn't hog system resources.

Cons: Adding subtitles to movies can be tricky. Doesn't support streaming. Setting up shortcut commands is labour intensive. Overly simplistic interface.

Pros: Two players in one. Easy to switch to advanced mode. Codec detector useful. Easy to change skins.

Cons: Advanced options are not particularly well organised and take some getting used to.
