Pros: Thousands of widgets available. ‘Floating’ widgets mean they don’t intrude on the desktop environment. Functionality for creating your own widgets.
Cons: Not compatible with My Yahoo!. Running many widgets can tie up system resources, though this is much improved in the latest release.
Pros: No complicated menus. Easy to install.
Pros: Easy to install. Several configuration options. Clean and streamlined look. Large number of resources.
Cons: Can take time to get used to. Does not include all Lion features. Takes up a lot of memory. Can be a little slow.
Pros: Unique design. Easy installation process.
Cons: Does not support all texts/characters.
Pros: Easy to use.
Pros: Can check multiple e-mail accounts. Outlook integration excellent. Unobtrusive. Many different components to choose from. Lots of great skins.
Cons: Sometimes crashes when initially adding new components. Development of components seems limited. Could cause problems on slower machines.
Pros: Very original. Includes sound.
Cons: Only 1 dog breed available.
Pros: Very easy to install. Creates a restoration point for a safer uninstall. You can select which elements to include in installation and which ones not. Includes many extra applications.
Cons: Some icons still don't show properly. There's no graphical interface to manage extra apps and other elements.
