A famous actor sneaks into the cast of Hades 2.

Since its release, Hades has managed to captivate the audience with its fun gameplay, artistic direction, and the great charisma of its characters. As expected, many of the actors from the first installment have returned for Hades 2. However, the sequel has also brought us a handful of new characters and, in the process, the voice of a renowned Hollywood actor.

Just like in the first game, Hades 2 brings us countless conversations with Greek gods and other mythological figures to discover them little by little. Among the new characters, one of them is played by a renowned actor that many probably wouldn’t expect to see here. If you don’t want to be spoiled, we advise you not to keep reading.

Asa Butterfield, one of the protagonists of Sex Education and Ender’s Game, makes his debut in Hades 2 as Icarus. However, please note that if you want to hear him in the game, it may take some time. On the other hand, fans of Baldur’s Gate 3 will be delighted to know that they will hear the narrator, Amelia Tyler, playing Hecate.

On May 6th, Hades 2 was released without prior notice on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Currently, we can only play its early access, as there is no definite date for the release of its full version. Additionally, Supergiant Games has also announced through their official blog that Hades 2 will be available for consoles and Mac.

In Hades 2, we will take on the role of Melinoë, Princess of the Underworld, and our mission will be to eliminate the Titan Cronos. As we progress through the game, we will encounter familiar faces such as Aphrodite, Zeus, and many more gods, all ready to assist you with new powers.
