The third season of Netflix’s epic fantasy saga will continue following the monster hunter Geralt of Rivia, who is hiding with Ciri “determined to protect his newly reunited family from those who threaten to destroy it,” as announced by Netflix.
In this third season, we will have to bid farewell to Henry Cavill after 4 years of portraying the Butcher of Blaviken. Fans can’t bear the thought of losing Henry in his role as Geralt… and surely Cavill is also taking it hard.
And if you don’t believe it, just take a look at how he broke down in tears a few days ago during his farewell to The Witcher fans.

When is The Witcher season 3 released?
The third season will be released in two parts: Volume 1 will arrive on Thursday, June 29, and Volume 2 on Thursday, July 27.
Executive producer Steve Gaub confirmed that filming for the third season had wrapped up in September 2022. Since then, they have been working on post-production.
And for those who may not know, the release date also aligns with Netflix’s strategy of having a strong release every month. Henry Cavill will certainly have a busy summer… pun intended.
