Apple Intelligence gives us more than one laugh with these two new ads

Apple has released new updates, iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1, officially introducing Apple Intelligence. Apple’s artificial intelligence marks a significant turning point in how we use our devices, as the company demonstrated since its announcement at the last WWDC 2024. Now that Apple Intelligence is here, Cupertino has cleverly used humor to present these innovations.

The AI that can indeed integrate into our lives

As is customary, Apple approaches the news from a humorous perspective. In this case, there were two announcements about the writing tools and the creation of memories in the Photos app.

In the first announcement, Apple focuses on writing tools, which allow us to give a professional touch to our messages. The scene centers on an office worker who, when sending an email, uses the “Professional” option to rewrite his message and give it a more formal tone. The tool turns it into an impeccable email that impresses his boss given the peculiar nature (to put it mildly) of the employee.

The second announcement focuses on the Memory Movies feature, which is available in the Photos app. A woman, realizing she has forgotten her husband’s birthday, rushes to create a photo video from her iPhone. The app allows her to simply describe the video to see it created instantly.

Beyond these everyday examples and while Tim Cook discovers this feature of the Messages app, the truth is that Apple Intelligence is integrated into key functions of the operating system. Functions where it can make a difference and where this difference is made simply by pressing a button. This is Apple Intelligence, AI for the rest of us.
