With apps for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, Beats Music, the latest service to join the online music streaming mix, will launch in the US on January 21st. Access for other countries should follow within the coming months.

Beats Music provides curated music streaming based on both your tastes and your mood, offering a new angle on music streaming from what now seems like a multitude of rivals including Google Play Music All Access, Deezer, Pandora, Rdio and Spotify.

Beats Music will launch January 21st

Beats Music combines a powerful algorithm with manual selection of songs performed by a team of experts including radio programmers, producers and DJs. The company says that experts will select the songs one by oneduring streaming. It’s undoubtedly a difficult promise to keep, but Beats Music has devised a system they say will contribute to a more accurate selection of music.

The streaming service will cost $9.99/month but AT&T customers with a family plan can get the service for up to 5 members and 10 devices for $14.99.

Ahead of next week’s launch, you can already sign up with an account on the Beats Music website.
