On April 17, Call of Duty will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Black Ops saga with a special event called Black Ops Tribute. This celebration, which will last for two weeks until May 1, will give players the chance to earn a total of 17 free rewards, including a new operator skin called John Black Ops.
More weapons for the arsenal
To access all the rewards, players must own Call of Duty Black Ops 6, as free Warzone players will only be able to obtain about half of the prizes. This event is not only a celebration but will also allow players to add new weapons to their arsenal, such as the Scorestreak and the Nail Gun.
One of the main attractions of the event is a mastery challenge that requires players to accumulate 617,000 XP in various game modes, such as multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, to unlock the operator John Black Ops. This type of activity stands out for its experience-focused nature, so players are encouraged to participate from the beginning and maximize their XP gain.
To achieve this goal, it is advisable to choose objective-based game modes, such as Domination, which provide more opportunities to earn experience, avoiding small maps that limit gains. The use of Double XP Tokens is also suggested as an effective strategy to accelerate this process.
Since the event is limited, players are advised to ensure they do not miss out on the rewards. Once the event concludes, most items will not be available, except for certain weapons that can be unlocked in future challenges.
