Someone uploaded video footage of The Elder Scrolls Online beta, which was swiftly removed by developer Bethesda. Games site Gameranx.com saw it and has listed what you could conclude from the video, which was supposedly not very high quality.

Another site, Thrifty Nerd has written a hands on preview, which also presumably breaks the non-disclosure-agreement that joining the beta requires.

Taking both sources together, it’s clear that The Elder Scrolls Online is much more like an traditional MMORPG than Skyrim. Combat appears repetitive, and the quests more generic than normal ‘The Elder Scrolls’ games. As you would expect in an online RPG, there’s extensive character creation.

Bethesda has released a trickle of official screenshots and video since its teaser trailer at E3 2012. As the beta is rolled out to more and more players, more unofficial video will no doubt leak. For now, check out the latest trailer and screenshots from The Elder Scrolls Online.
