In this video in our series dedicated to learning more about iOS 7, we present the new Notification Center.
This function is nothing new for iOS, but compared to the previous versions, some things have changed.
brightcove.createExperiences();
Viewing notifications is the same: you have to slide your finger from the top down, starting at the top of the screen.
The appearance, however, is different than previous version of iOS. The gray linen texture has been replaced by a semi-transparent background letting you see what’s underneath.
Notifications are now divided into three tabs: Today, All and Missed. The first tab shows the weather forecast, today’s calendar, reminders, stock indexes and any events you may have scheduled for the next day.
Check out the rest of our Discovering iOS 7 video series for more tips on the new iOS 7.
