Although in Spain she is known for Élite, one of the worst series in Netflix history, Esther Expósito is still loved as an actress. Bandidos tells the story of Miguel (Alfonso Dosal) and his accomplice Lilí (Ester Expósito) who join a group of bandits trying to recover the treasure from an underwater tomb of a Spanish galleon that sank in the Gulf of Mexico during the War of Independence. However, they won’t be the only ones seeking to get their hands on this extremely valuable loot.

Among the paradisiacal landscapes of the Mexican Caribbean and lots of adventure, the group of bandits will recover a treasure from the underwater tomb of a Spanish galleon, sunk in the depths of the Gulf of Mexico during the Mexican War of Independence. But they are not the only ones chasing this treasure.
