Like every May 4th, Star Wars fans once again celebrated their day under the famous slogan “May the 4th be with you“. Fortnite also wanted to join the party and to take advantage of the occasion, a series of additions have been included in different parts of the battle royale universe.
Since then, Fortnite players have been able to obtain Star Wars-based weapons, skins, cosmetic accessories, and much more. Yoda was also part of the available accessories, which we could carry on our backs as if it were a backpack. However, the Jedi master has had to be removed from Fortnite unexpectedly due to the problems he has been causing.
Apparently, a player discovered that equipping Yoda could cause many errors, including the complete shutdown of Fortnite. Specifically, this happened when performing the Zoidberg dance: “if you do the Zoidberg Scuttle emote while wearing the Yoda accessory, there is a high probability that the game will crash“.
At the moment, there is no indication that Yoda will be available again in Fortnite, at least in the short term. Fortunately for Star Wars fans, Epic Games’ battle royale has many other interesting cosmetics and additional items, such as the Luke in Dagobah costumes or Lando Calrissian.
Star Wars landed in Fortnite on May 3rd in the 29.40 update. Thanks to this collaboration, players can enjoy the LEGO: Rebel Adventure pass, the arrival of Chewbacca, Darth Vader, and much, much more.
The celebration of the saga in Battle Royale, Fortnite Festival, and all its associated missions will be available until the next May 14th at 15:00 CEST.
