This fall will see the release of Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies, officially licensed by Valve, and developed in collaboration with Korean company Nexon. It will be available via Steam on Windows.
Currently, there are neither trailers nor screenshots of Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies, but Nexon has explained a little about what we can expect. The zombies in the game will be aggressive and fast moving, not the slow, lumbering traditional ones. It will have new weapons and game modes, although classic modes ‘Hostage Rescue’ and ‘Bomb Diffusion’ will remain in the game.
How zombies will affect the classic team based play of the game is unclear. Coincidentally, one of the most popular multiplayer zombie action games is by Valve itself – the Left 4 Dead series. This could be an example of how Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies might play, with players teaming up against swarms of computer controlled zombies.
Nexon is also responsible for Counter-Strike Online, another officially licensed Counter Strike game which is free to play, unlike Valve’s more recent Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies will be launched worldwide, and supports English, German, French, Italian, Polish and Russian languages.
