For 7 seasons that were stalled over time, the series made it clear that the future can be just as much fun as our present. And now it’s back on Disney Plus with a new season that will update our future and tell us how Fry and Leela have continued to fare.

The series will premiere its new episodes next July 27, and will once again delight both its fans and new audiences with its stories on Disney Plus. But is it worth watching the previous seasons to catch up?
