The arrival of Godzilla in Minecraft is a reality. This new DLC for the Mohjang game, which will be paid this time, will give players the option to enjoy the curious experience offered by this new expansion, which involves a new cubic crossover for the famous survival video game.
With this, Minecraft continues to expand its official content in order to showcase a more rounded and complete gaming experience. Several updates have arrived in recent months, and with this they continue to position themselves as a key video game within the genre that has been dominating for over a decade.
Godzilla, a large-scale crossover
As you can imagine, and as Minecraft has stated in its latest post, in this DLC you will have to run for your life to escape from the bloody power of Godzilla, one of the most iconic monsters in cinema. There are four different modes, and all of them have multiplayer available, so it’s an ideal option to play in a group with more people.
This DLC is now available and, as seen in the trailer, it will bring moments of great fun to the players who choose this expansion that includes the well-known beast of the Tokusatsu genre from the cinemas.
The Battle of Minecraft in the Genre
There is no doubt that Minecraft was one of the main contributors to the survival genre becoming a mass phenomenon. In fact, it has been one of the leading games in the industry for over a decade, and part of the blame lies with its gameplay formula, which has proven to be unbeatable. That’s why, in order to continue improving the experience without making profound changes, DLCs like this recently presented one appear to enrich Mohjang’s main game.
However, the competition is stronger than ever, and there are many survival games that exist today. Other games like Ark, Rust, LEGO Fortnite, or games that are seen in Early Access like Valheim or Enshrouded show that this gaming niche still has a lot of life ahead.
