Herbology classes are just around the corner. This week Hogwarts Legacy, the new title from Avalanche based on the Harry Potter universe, will be released, and only a few days ago it published its launch trailer. Among other details, we are told that our protagonist will have the strange ability to see “whispers of ancient magic” and we are mentioned for the first time to Professor Weasley, Ron Weasley‘s ancestor.
The open-world video game will be released on Friday, February 10 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC (Switch users will have to wait), although those who have reserved a Deluxe edition will be able to start their magical adventures 3 days earlier, on Tuesday, February 7. In addition, Hogwarts Legacy allows you to get exclusive rewards by following a series of steps that you can do right now, while you wait.
What do I need to do to get the exclusive Hogwarts Legacy rewards?
If you want to get exclusive rewards in Hogwarts Legacy, just follow the steps below:
- Go to the Wizarding World website and register/login. If you already have a previous profile, but want to create a new one, you can do so without any problem.
- Take the tests to find out which Hogwarts house and wand suits you best. You can also do this in the game, but later you will have the possibility to transfer this data.
- Go to this link and create a Warner Bros. Games account or log in if you already have one.
- Log in here and connect your Wizarding World and Warner Bros. Games accounts. Once you start the game, a notification after the title screen will confirm that you have earned the rewards.
What rewards will I get when I connect my accounts?
After connecting your Wizarding World and Warner Bros. Games accounts, you will first unlock an exclusive wallpaper that you can use on your PC, mobile or tablet. Once you enter Hogwarts Legacy, two cosmetic items will be unlocked for your character: a fan-tastic school robe for the Hogwarts house you are in and a spiked skull mask.
In addition, if you have taken the tests on the Wizarding World website, after linking the accounts (and going through the corresponding ceremonies), the data of the house you belong to and the wand you got will be exported. And, if you want more rewards, remember that if you play on PS4 or PS5 you will have access to several exclusive contents.
