It’s a film that very few had confidence in, but Blue Beetle has become a critical success, and if all goes well, these results will soon be reflected at the box office as well. The first film from DC Studios by James Gunn has surprised everyone with its fresh blend of Spider-Man and Iron Man, and interestingly, it has managed to win over those who were not impressed by The Flash.
The movie is full of surprises that we won’t reveal here to avoid spoilers. But if you want to know whether you should stay in your seat when the credits roll, this is the place for you. Because yes, Blue Beetle has post-credits scenes. But how many exactly?
2 post-credits scenes
In total, Blue Beetle features two post-credits scenes. After the 127-minute film, we are treated to a scene right after the opening credits, while the other scene comes after the full end credits… which are considerably longer.
Without delving into spoilers, it’s worth mentioning that if you’re interested in the future of DC Comics on the big screen, staying to watch these scenes is highly recommended. They effectively establish that Blue Beetle is the first hero of the universe crafted by Peter Safran and James Gunn, and they provide a clear indication that what lies ahead is even more significant in the future.

Blue Beetle premieres worldwide on August 18th and tells the story of Jaime Reyes, a young man who comes into possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology known as the Scarab. When the Scarab chooses Jaime as its symbiotic host, it bestows upon him an armor with extraordinary and unpredictable powers.
