Actor Jamie Foxx, known by all for starring in films such as Django Unchained, Ray or Collateral, is living one of the most complicated moments of his career. A month ago, the interpreter had to be urgently hospitalized for reasons that were unknown to us at the time, and since then he is still hospitalized.
Foxx was in Atlanta (Georgia) filming Back in Action, Cameron Diaz’s latest movie, for Netflix. At the time he had to be admitted to the city urgently, but all that was said at the time was that it was a “medical complication”. This was announced by his daughter, Corinne Foxx, on social networks:
“We want to share that my father experienced a medical complication yesterday. Fortunately, thanks to prompt and good care, he is already on the road to recovery. We appreciate your prayers. The family requests privacy during this time.”
But, a month after the event, more information has come to light about what happened. Apparently, Jamie Foxx suffered a severe stroke, and it is even said that he had to be revived after what happened. The 55-year-old actor has been fighting for his life ever since, and the hospital is doing everything possible to bring him back to life.

Back in Action goes ahead with its stuntman
From CNN they have published that they have kept quiet from their environment because they have always wanted to keep Foxx’s private life out of the public eye, although a week ago they published from their Instagram account a very brief publication in which they thanked the support received: “I appreciate all the love. I feel blessed”.
While Foxx is in the hospital, Back in Action’s production has been moving forward with what they can. Director Seth Gordon is using his stunt double, Travis Parker, to shoot some of the scenes with Diaz and the rest of the cast. But, as reported from the production, their greatest wish is that the actor recovers and can soon even return to filming.
