Kim Kardashian doesn’t stop for a second. The businesswoman, influencer, billionaire and brunette always knows how to get people talking and that’s what she did at the Met Gala 2023. In the last edition, she managed to be the center of attention for wearing Marylin Monroe’s legendary dress (and tearing it up).
At the time, she was accompanied by comedian Pete Davidson, her partner at the time. However, the relationship did not last much longer and passed to a better life months later. Now, both have returned to parade down the Met Gala carpet and as expected, they have reunited.
Despite the breakup, the two seem to maintain a good relationship, as they were both photographed chatting with singer Usher.
Kardashian took the opportunity to wear a look signed by Schiaparelli and full of pearls, an outfit that was very reminiscent of the nude she did for Playboy in her younger years. Pete, dressed in Fendi, remained faithful to his informal and casual style that characterizes him so much
The love story between the comedian and the businesswoman began on Saturday Night Live, when the founder of Skims had to host an episode in October 2021. However, Kim and Pete decided to remain “friends” in August 2022 . According to PageSix, the two “have a lot of love and respect for each other, but realized that the long distance and their schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
As if that were not enough, during that time there was someone who did not take that relationship very well: Kanye West (now Ye). The rapper and Kardashian’s ex, lashed out in every possible way against the comedian on social networks, including threats (he even dedicated a music video to him). This harassment made Pete Davidson had to undergo psychological treatment to recover from the “trauma” that West had generated.
