If you use multiple cloud storage services like Dropbox, Box, SkyDrive and Google Drive, it can be a pain to manage them all. App developer, Readdle, has released a great iPad app to do just that. The app is beautifully designed and simple to use. It serves well as a file viewer but you can also download, upload, move, and share files.
The best thing about Documents is that it supports a ton of different file formats out of the box. It opens up Microsoft Office documents, PDFs, music files, and more. You can manage your files by downloading and uploading between services. But there’s no ability to move files between services directly.
Documents is strictly a document viewer. You’ll still need other applications if you want to edit your documents. Still, Documents is pretty feature rich and even includes a web browser that allows you to save pages to read offline. Services like Pocket and Instapaper work better but it’s nice to see that functionality in Documents anyway. Readdle is free to download from the Apple App Store for the iPad.
