Love them or hate them, the prequels are a part of the Star Wars universe. Jar Jar Binks is in the same universe as Yoda and Darth Vader, and Force ability is the result of midichlorians existing in the bloodstream. “‘The Phantom Menace’ is one of my favorite movies,” George Lucas said at this year’s Star Wars Celebration, “and, of course, Jar Jar is my favorite character. Ahmed [Best], you did a fantastic job. It was very very hard.”
