Last night the most important gala in the video game industry took place. For the traditional press, the Game Awards are like the Oscars of cinema. There is a lot of anticipation, the red carpet is packed and if you win, you can proudly display the statue in your studio’s showcase.
For that reason, the The Game Awards are awards that are followed by millions of players around the world. And not just players: fans, developers, studios, press, etc.
Millions of people gather in front of the television until the early hours of the morning (yesterday it ended at 5 a.m.) following the awards and announcements of new video games.
Without further ado, let’s go with all the winners of the night, reviewing all the categories that had a statuette at stake. The way we present the candidates and the winners we have selected may seem long, but more than 20 awards were given out yesterday and you don’t want to miss any. Let’s go!
