Dotemu (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Streets of Rage 4) and The Game Kitchen (Blasphemous) have joined forces to bring Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, a new game with all the essence of the NES Ninja Gaiden.
According to the press release from Koei Tecmo Games, in Ragebound we will play as Kenji Mozu, a young ninja from the Hayabusa clan. After the events of Ninja Gaiden for NES, where Ryu Hayabusa went to America to avenge his father’s death, a door to darkness has opened in the village. In light of the situation, young Mozu decides to fight to protect Hayabusa from the demonic presences.
Ragebound is a two-dimensional and side-scrolling title where we will face hundreds of enemies in fast-paced and dynamic combat. If you are a fan of the saga and liked Blasphemous, Ragebound is a game that should be on your radar. It will be released in summer 2025 and will be available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
