There is no game in the world more successful than Minecraft. Surely not even GTA 5 is in terms of players and total sales, although both are undoubtedly on the podium. Microsoft made a bargain with the purchase of Mojang Studios for 2 billion dollars considering the success it has continued to achieve a decade later.

Well, part of the success that Minecraft continues to have is thanks to the relentless work of its development team, which continues to release content every now and then, with updates, patches, and new missions. The goal is for Minecraft to continue making money and for players not to get bored.

In that sense, today we can say that a new update is being released for the original game (Minecraft is divided into many different titles) and if you are a player, you will be very interested. Below is the announcement trailer.

What’s Coming to Minecraft in April 2024

Mojang has just released a new update for Minecraft (for the classic price of 6.99 euros) Bedrock on all compatible platforms that brings the Armadillo mafia, new wolf variants, Realms Stories and more.

This update, patch 1.20.80, is already available on mobile devices, but it has just started to be distributed on consoles and PC. The full patch notes mention wolf armor, Kingdom Stories feed, Kingdom Events (so far 19 unique ones), improvements to friends, new experimental features (mace, heavy core, and more), and many fixes and improvements, including technical updates.

Along with today’s new update, which focuses on Wolf variants, Kingdom Stories, and Armadillo Mafia. If you haven’t played Minecraft in a while, you can subscribe to the Marketplace Pass. The details are here.

This subscription is available to access from all devices with Minecraft Bedrock Edition. It will be interesting to see what releases Mojang makes for Minecraft before June, where we will probably know more about the next major update and DLC for the game.

We hope that some of the spin-offs will also be natively available on mobile devices in the future.
