Call of Duty is already known for offering some particularly violent moments, but in Black Ops 6: Zombies we are going to see things at a completely new level. Somehow we have to justify raising the price of the Game Pass, right?
While players count down the days to the release of what is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated installments of the popular franchise, Activision is sharing more details about what the community can expect from this year’s Zombies mode.
This mode, which will mean a return to the origins, will not lack blood and guts. According to YouTuber and content creator MrDalekJD, developer Treyarch has finally added what is described as a “game over outro” that will sound every time a player succumbs to the horde of zombies.
A form that will be recreated for every comrade fallen in combat
This clip will not be a simple death scene, but rather document how the user’s character is viscerally torn apart by the undead, which seems like an especially gruesome way to end a game.
The Zombies game mode of Call of Duty has always been synonymous with Treyarch and the Black Ops sub-franchise, so it makes sense for the next main installment to expand it in some significant way.
One of the smallest but most appreciated additions is the option to save in the middle of a solo game. This means that players who are participating in a particularly successful solo game will have the option to save their progress and resume the game later, instead of leaving the device on (the planet will thank us).
Another fantastic improvement in the quality of life of Black Ops 6: Zombies is the ability to join an ongoing match. Players now have the option to join a friend’s match without having to start from the beginning, making the cooperative experience smoother.
Finally, a new “guided mode” should help newcomers to better adapt to the game, as the Zombies mode can be a difficult format to learn due to the amount of Easter eggs scattered throughout each map.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25th and will be available as a Day One version on Xbox Game Pass. In addition to zombies, players can also expect another chapter in the espionage story and the return of the beloved multiplayer mode.
