Xbox players were able to enjoy ARK: Survival Evolved on Xbox Game Pass in the past. However, their servers closed in September 2023 due to the release of the remastered version.

ARK: Survival Ascended improves on almost everything compared to its predecessor. To begin with, the game has been remade in Unreal Engine 5 and includes updates to dinosaur designs, different biomes, and new physics systems, among many other innovations. Of course, multiplayer mode is also available, which is cross-platform as well.

Raising, combat, and construction have also been greatly improved. Within ARK: Survival Ascended, you will be able to breed dinosaurs with different genetic traits and customize their physical appearance. The destruction of the environment becomes more realistic as well, within a landscape that improves its interaction with the player.

Before and after being released, ARK: Survival Ascended had to go through a road full of bumps and delays, followed by connection issues with the servers. Its performance on PC was not the best either: players reported constant frame drops and unexpected crashes. Months after its release, fortunately the game is in much better shape.

Nowadays, ARK: Survival Ascended is available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. To play it through Xbox Game Pass, you just have to subscribe to the service. You have a very interesting offer available where you can enjoy 14 days for only one euro.
