Twitter appears to be having issues

If you spent some time Tweeting on Twitter yesterday, you may have noticed the post empty on your feed. Many users sent complaints about the outage, leaving the social media company wondering what was happening. It had no idea that Twitter was having issues.
After doing some fiddling, the company managed to resolve the issue without explaining what had gone wrong. This follows a similar incident on Feb 11 when people weren’t able to post Tweets during the day. The timelines also wouldn’t load properly.
Twitter is busy testing new features at the moment. The first involves incorporating long-form articles named Twitter Articles. It’s also planning to drop its connection to its two-factor service provider, as it seems that it performs surveillance operations. For all we know, any of these two factors could be playing a role in the recent outages.
While one incident is worth ignoring, a repeat Twitter outage sends up alarms to fans. There’s seems to be a rise in users complaining about the platform. Perhaps it’s time for a massive update that will finally change the way the platform works. For instance, it would be great if the mobile app worked properly on some mobile brands instead of redirecting to the browser.
Until then, we’ll wait and see if Twitter develops any more issues in the weeks to come. We’ll also see if any of the new features required Twitter Blue membership or if anyone will be able to use them.
