WhatsApp has been rolling out new features for its app for several months now, and there doesn’t seem to be a slowdown in sight. While the vast majority of these new features are highly useful, the latest addition in the recent WhatsApp beta is arguably one of the most anticipated by users.
Once again, the website WABetaInfo has picked up on the upcoming feature that will be included in the stable versions of WhatsApp, and which is currently only available in the beta update 2.23.17.8.
But what major feature does this important WhatsApp beta update include? Well, no less than multi-account support. Yes, you read that correctly: WhatsApp is testing a feature in its latest beta that will allow users to add multiple accounts to the app.

To add a new WhatsApp account to the device, users will need to tap on the green checkmark located next to the QR code button. This new menu will allow us to add a new account to the device, as well as switch between different accounts. The new accounts will remain linked to the WhatsApp app until they are logged out.
The addition of multi-account support will enable WhatsApp users to keep conversations from all their accounts on a single device. This feature is particularly useful for those who have multiple WhatsApp accounts and previously used more than one device to manage them.
WhatsApp‘s new feature is currently being tested in the beta version, so it’s not entirely guaranteed to be included in future stable releases of the app or even to be launched with the same appearance. However, the great utility of this feature practically ensures that it will eventually arrive, sooner or later. Patience, everyone.
