Pros: Supports 20 different messaging services, covering historical and popular options. Privacy mode with TouchID support provides added security. Advanced media support enables media sharing and video chat in addition to text. Supports notification alerts and enables replying from within notifications.
Cons: Does not support enterprise versions of some messengers such as HipChat. Some apps require re-logging in when going between app and One Chat Lite. Only 2 messenger services enabled in free version. Missing support for many messaging apps depending on your preferences.
Pros: It is free fully open source. It has spellcheck SASL proxies and DCC support.
Cons: The starting GUI is pretty ugly. Chat rooms are not very popular or populated these days.
