Adobe Illustrator Draw
Adobe Illustrator Draw allows users to draw elaborated illustrations and organize all your works with this official Adobe app. You will be able to add tons of layers, use a stylus, pencils, pens, and brushes and edit your creations and export them in many different file formats.
I like this app for illustrating my designs. The many different mediums you can use to create you designs work really well and I love the way I can edit my mistakes or color changes right away. Exporting works well as long as you keep your files small. I just use my flash-drive and no problem. Great app to use. More

DesignLab Studio is a quick and easy way to create proofs, but I wouldn't recommend it for serious work. It's certainly more powerful than most apps, but it's nothing like a full-featured studio. More

PANTONE Studio is a powerful app for designers. You can create your own palette, test colors, view harmonies and much more. The app, also, allows you pick a color from a photo.
by Jerry Shaw
If i was a designer, I would probably appreciate this App a lot more. Likewise if I had an iPhone and not an Android. It does look fun to play with though, and seems jam packed with features. For people that just want to play every now and then though, the cost structure doesn't really work. More

Exify is an advanced photo editor for iOS devices. You can take a color sampling from your photos, view RGB histogram, add a watermark and much more.
by Paul Schneider
This app helps you modify the underneath metadata of the photos that you take. You can add image descriptions to the EXIF, which helps with image classification databases. My only gripe is that the photos sort of appear in a random order in the app, which is a bit frustrating if you want to edit similar data between similiar photos in the same photo session. More
by Virginia Adams
I wanted to alter some photos, and find a tool to help with some novice graphic design. I decided to try Exify. I wasn't impressed. It loaded all the photos, but in a totally random order. when I saved the image, it appeared more saturated in color. Which is useless. I ended up uninstalling in about 30 minutes More
Font Candy is a design app developed by Easy Tiger for iOS devices. With this app, you can edit your photos in order to add text and personalized titles. There are more than 80 different fonts.
by Dennis Stephens
Font Candy can help you make rather professional-looking projects and is a fairly popular choice for designers, from what I've seen. This version of the the app is a really great value, for what it offers. That said, customer service/support for the app is a bit lacking. More
Assembly is a useful app to create stunning designs. With this app, you can produce professional graphics using basic shapes. There are more than 150 different shapes and more than 200 stickers.
by Joseph Barnett
When searching for the best apps for graphic designers, I was hoping for an app that was actually geared towards designers. Assembly is very elementary, and while it is certainly useful in graphic design, it's all but useless for anyone who is above a beginner level. It might be great for some, but it's certainly not made with professional designers in mind; it's far too shallow. More

If you need to create stickers, icons, scenes, and other graphics this app will work great for you. I have had a lot of fun using its building block style. More

The FontBook Typeface Compendium (what a mouthful) is something I'm kind of torn on. It's a very, very good app for what it is. It's all about typefaces and fonts, and it will help you find the very best font for your needs. It's just that there's more to graphic design than simply finding the right typeface. It's definitely part of it, and having the wrong typeface can make your design look unappealing to say the least, but I don't know. It seems too limited to really help with graphic designs THAT much. But for what it is, I love it, and think it's really good and useful. That's why it pains me that it's just not the best solution for this problem. It's a good start, and it does help, but it's not the be all end all, sadly. More

I've been a graphic designer for a long time and I've never seen such a comprehensive compendium. Also.. I just really love fonts. I also really liked the option to share favored samples on social media. More

Graphics design needs a fast and powerful computer to be done properly. This app is okay for coming up with a concept, but to actually create the design i would recommend using a PC
