Cons: Not a modern programme. Graphics cannot compete with other programmes. User interface feels dated. Some object categories are limited, e.g. furniture.

Cons: Limited tech support.
Pros: Multi-format playback. Robust sound engine. Supports Internet radio. Popular tag formats supported.
Cons: Not open source. Interface is busy and less intuitive. Help not available in multiple languages. Getting used to it can take time.
Pros: Professional looking results with an intuitive interface. Excellent support for importing and exporting files. First class typography support. Updated to work with iPad and eBook formats. Create interactive publications.
Cons: In the effort to simplify this version, some features have been sacrificed. Ease of use still doesn't quite match up to Adobe InDesign. Demo requires lengthy registration.
Pros: Advanced and very sophisticated. Import sound samples in .au, .aiff and .wav formats. It has QT 5 support and OSC support. It has velocity automation and a full screen mode.
Cons: Setting up is tricky, and adding midi devices is difficult. Device mapping requires advanced user knowledge. There is no pre-installed pattern generator. Auto-mutes instruments when it cannot find samples for it.
Pros: Edit subtitle texts. Change subtitle font and color. Easy to install.
Cons: Outdated graphics. May be confusing to first time users.
