Cons: Setting up is tricky, and adding midi devices is difficult. Device mapping requires advanced user knowledge. There is no pre-installed pattern generator. Auto-mutes instruments when it cannot find samples for it.

Pros: Professional looking results with an intuitive interface. Excellent support for importing and exporting files. First class typography support. Updated to work with iPad and eBook formats. Create interactive publications.

Cons: In the effort to simplify this version, some features have been sacrificed. Ease of use still doesn't quite match up to Adobe InDesign. Demo requires lengthy registration.

Pros: Robust karaoke player. Built-in songs bank. Reads everything from mp4 to midi. Available for both Windows and Mac.

Cons: Not really free. Certain files are compressed. Uninstalling the app could be a pain. No online interface.
