The latest game from Guerrilla, Horizon Forbidden West, will soon arrive on PC in its Complete Edition. With a release date set for March 21st, and with many details revealed about the features it will present on computers, the second title in the saga starring Aloy is heading towards its jump to this platform.
Horizon Forbidden West was released on PS5 and PS4 on February 25, 2022, and later received its DLC, Burning Shores, on April 19, 2023. Now, following the announcement that this sequel would come to PC, just like its predecessor, the saga can be enjoyed in its entirety without the need for a PlayStation.
Great graphic qualities
PlayStation, with the release of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition getting closer, has released a post and a new trailer. They highlight some of the features that the game will have on PC, such as unlocked FPS, NVIDIA DLSS 3 technology for improved processing, and a wide range of settings for different PC ranges.
Horizon Forbidden West follows the events that take place in Horizon Zero Dawn, so if you are interested in playing this video game, it is highly recommended that you start with the previous game, which also has an enviable graphic section, despite being released in 2017. However, its sequel, as you can see in the trailer, is one of the titles with the most accomplished technical section to date.
The performance challenge
One of the biggest accusations that PlayStation studios have received after starting to release their video games on PC has always been the technical problems that these titles suffered in their first weeks. Therefore, it remains to be seen if, this time, the game is released with its resources properly optimized, which has been Sony’s Achilles’ heel on PC.
As a video game, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is not new, so it is already known that it is one of the most notable games that were released in 2022, and its sales were counted in millions at its launch on PlayStation 5. (source)
