TikTok adverts are rising all over the internet, trying to draw new users to the Android and iPhone apps. While some people turn to adblock technology, not everyone wants to make use of it. There’s one method you can use to get rid of TikTok ads on your own if they’re constantly appearing on your browser.

How to Get Rid of Tik Tok Ads

Please note that you won’t be able to banish any ads from inside the TikTok application, as it’s there by default. These steps are merely for removing them from your browser and online experience. Like the rest of us, you’ll need to put up with the internal ones.

Step 1: Select Information

When you see a TikTok appear while browsing the internet, look for an information sign in one of the corners. When you select it, a new window will appear if the option is available for that specific advert. Keep in mind that not all of them have this option.

Step 2: Click on “Stop Seeing This Ad”

With the new window open, you can ask that the TikTok advert stop appearing. If you don’t see this option, it means your browser has disabled it. You’ll then have to look for an adblocker instead, which will prevent any adverts from appearing.

Step 3: Give your reason

If you manage to succeed, you can supply your reason. The three main options are generally Irrelevant, Repetitive, and Inappropriate. Most people opt for the second reason, as TikTok ads are all over the place lately. You can then send your report to the browser company, and you’ll see them start to disappear.

Banishing ads from your browsing experience

This solution might not be optimal, but it’s the only one available unless you’re using an adblocker. If you continue to use these steps, you won’t see any more TikTok ads in time. However, it doesn’t mean you can’t continue having fun on the app itself.
