The third Sonic movie is just around the corner. With the previous two being a huge success, it is expected that this one will be no different. And as usual, SEGA wants to capitalize on that success. But without recent Sonic games, how are they going to do it? With their games that have no expiration date. Because there are three Sonic mobile games that will receive updates to celebrate the movie’s release.
Three Sonic games will receive updates for the movie
Sonic Dream Team, Sonic Dash, and Sonic Forces will receive updates to celebrate the arrival of the new Sonic movie. Bringing all of them new content that you can’t miss for anything in the world.
The first update to arrive will be for Sonic Forces. Scheduled for today, December 12, it will bring three new tracks, as well as new characters like Movie Shadow, Movie Sonic, and other familiar faces. For Sonic Dash we will have to wait until December 20. The game will allow us to collect cards to unlock Movie Shadow and Movie Sonic, as well as obtain daily collectibles to keep you entertained throughout the holidays.
And we have saved the best for last. Sonic Dream Team will receive an update on December 18th. This update will introduce Shadow as a new playable character. However, you will first need to unlock him in Tail’s Trials. Along with him, new upgrades for all characters will arrive, as well as some exclusive ones for Shadow himself. Additionally, six Shadow statues will be added in the tutorial to better guide new players.
Sonic 3, the movie premieres next December 20th. And if you are eagerly waiting for it, Sega has made sure you won’t get bored while waiting with plenty of content. Almost all of it focused on Shadow. As it should be.
