How to add official music to your Instagram Stories

  1. Tap on the Add Sticker button when you’re posting a photo or video to Stories.
  2. Tap on the Music icon.
  3. You can search for your music by genre, mood, what’s popular, or for a specific song.
  4. Tap the song you want. If you want to hear a preview click the play button.
  5. Use the fast-forward and rewind functions to find the exact part of the song that goes with your Story.

When your friends see your story, they’ll hear the part of the song you picked. They’ll also see the music sticker telling them the name of the song and artist.
