John Wick 4 streaming: where and when can you watch the movie online?

John Wick: Chapter 4 has become one of the best releases of the year, and everything seems to indicate that it will remain so throughout 2023. Despite the fact that the saga starring Keanu Reeves does not have a budget as high as those of Marvel or Warner, it has managed to carve a big niche among action movie fans, and each new installment has surpassed the previous one.

But when and where will we be able to see John Wick 4 on online platforms? If you missed it at the cinema or you want to see it again either because you can’t be more a fan of this action hero or because you want to catch up before watching The Continental and Ballerina, you are in luck: very soon you will be able to enjoy this new installment in streaming.

John Wick 4 streaming release date

On May 23rd of this year, as confirmed by Lionsgate, John Wick: Chapter 4 will be available for purchase in digital stores. This means that streaming platforms with purchase titles, such as Amazon Prime Video or Google Play, will have it available.

Considering that the film was released on March 23, this is the usual shortest time frame for productions of this style. Only two months will have passed from its theatrical release to its availability in streaming. Of course, it will still be pay-per-view… at least for a while.

Most likely, after another few months -we still don’t know how long, but probably after the summer- it will be released for free on a fixed platform. But on which one will it be released? Well, if we take into account that the first movie is on HBO Max and the rest on Amazon Prime Video, it seems that the balance will tip to the latter platform.

Also, there is something we have to take into account: the premiere of The Continental. The John Wick spin-off series will arrive on Amazon Prime Video in September 2023. Therefore, it is more than likely that the fourth installment will also do so around these dates, to warm up fans of the series and keep the saga in vogue.
