As the releases of the iPhone 17 series approach, rumors about the design of these new devices are intensifying.
Several sources agree that the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a revamped design, which could include a camera bar similar to Google Pixel and a bicolor back.
However, contradictory leaks have emerged that complicate the idea of a unified aesthetic. Will there be an iPhone 17 Air?
This is what we know about the iPhone 17
Jon Prosser, a known leaker, has shown a strange design for the iPhone 17 Pro camera, where the lenses are arranged in a triangular pattern within a large black camera island.
This design contrasts with previous leaks that showed a narrower and horizontal design. Prosser suggests that a horizontal arrangement of the lenses could interfere with the Face ID components, which could be a reason behind his proposal.
Amid this design dilemma, it is speculated that Apple is testing multiple prototypes, which opens up the possibility that several of these rumors could be true.
However, skepticism persists, especially considering that some of the promoted designs, like Prosser’s, have been labeled as “fake” by more reliable leakers such as Mark Gurman from Bloomberg.
Additionally, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is also expected to feature changes on the front, with rumors of a smaller Dynamic Island. This possible reduction has been mentioned by Digital Chat Station, who also indicates that a similar design could be used in a future foldable iPad and in later versions of the iPad Pro.
However, this feature is not accepted by all analysts, suggesting that there is still much to discover about these upcoming Apple devices.
