Cobra Kai, the spin-off of Karate Kid that surprised fans of the franchise a few years ago, is now coming to an end with a sixth and final season that is being divided into parts. The first five episodes are already available on Netflix, and in them we have already been able to see a pleasant surprise for fans of the series.
During the first episode of the sixth season, Johnny receives a message on his phone from a hidden number, asking him to meet in the forest where he used to train his students from Cobra Kai. Everything points to it being John Kreese (Martin Kove), who after escaping from prison in the previous season, seeks revenge against his former pupil and Miyagi’s protege.
A character that no one expected to return
However, the reality is different. To his surprise, the person Lawrence encounters is not Kreese, but a former apprentice of Cobra Kai: Raymond Stingray Porter (Paul Walter Hauser), with an unexpected proposal. Porter arrives in the woods accompanied by new students, with the intention of convincing Johnny to revive his old sensei’s dojo and train a new generation of champions. Despite his differences with Daniel regarding the direction of Miyagi-Do, Lawrence ultimately rejects the offer. This plot will continue to be explored in the following episodes.
